Studio 189

Actress Rosario Dawson and fashion marketing executive Abrima Erwiah co-founded Studio 189, an African-inspired clothing brand that's produced in Africa. The pieces are made with natural dyes from local plants and herbs in West Africa, including indigo and anatto, as well as sustainable natural fibers from Burkina Faso and Ghana. Bychari

Bychari is a jewelry line that's handmade in Los Angeles and includes high-quality pieces for a wide range of prices. Major celebrities like Kate Hudson, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, and Aimee Song have all been spotted wearing jewelry from the brand. In 2001, 12-year-old Andrea Pitter founded the fashion brand Pantora from the stoop of her Brooklyn home. Model Atelier

Founded by model Robin Harris, Model Atelier is a fashion brand meant for women 5'7" and taller. The brand has a collection called Confidence Apparel, which includes loungewear with motivational sayings. For every Confidence Apparel purchase, the brand donates money to cover books and tuition for children in underserved communities.
