6 Most Unbalanced Zodiac Signs, According To Astrology

"I'll have the cake, the pie, the extra sauce, the pasta and the buttered rolls, please. Oh, and a Diet Coke to go with all of that, thanks." That, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call "unbalanced," and this example is basically a metaphor for all the things we do in excess that seem to have absolutely no balance whatsoever.

In astrology, it's extremely easy to become one of the unbalanced zodiac signs, especially in this day and age where we all tend to focus heavily on one thing, while blatantly disregarding something else — something important — in our lives.

In Buddhism, we are told to walk the middle path. This is truly balanced advice as it implies that extremism leads to instability. The middle path is the path of balance; we're not all one way or another — we've got a mix, we're well balanced, we are open to suggestions.

When we are unbalanced, it is because we have put too much focus on a thing, and not enough on another. In other words, if you are obsessed with working out and getting a great body, but you eat only crap, you are unbalanced.

Some zodiac signs are much more prone to an unbalanced lifestyle than others, and they are:

1. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)

Aquarius is indecisive and take a long time to decide what they're going to do. This indecision of theirs borders on the hyper analytical — they drive themselves absolutely batty trying to figure out what's right versus what's wrong in their lives.

What tends to happen is they become hellbent on a plan of action and they forsake all other ideas to accomplish this goal. But, half way through the battle, they'll fail, because in retrospect, they wanted to do it the "other way." Aquarius is so unbalanced, they hurt themselves.

2. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)

Oddly enough, Libra — the representative of balance itself — is the least balanced of all the signs. Their scales are always unequal, so to speak.

Libra sets out with great intentions, but they fail consistently because of their great self-doubt and insecurity. A moment of confidence is always undermined by Libran self-doubt, and this throws them into a continuous state of imbalance.

3. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)

Second guessing one's self is the downfall of all Capricorn-born people, as they can plummet into depression very easily once this process starts to unravel them.

They are a strange balance of super confidence AND crippling lack of self-esteem, and what sets them on to a world of badly balanced choices is the fact that they can never reconcile one way or another. They love to win, but rarely do as their neurotic nature kicks in in a very unbalanced way.

4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

This sign is driven; they are ambitious and pushy, and their particular brand of drive can be very one-sighted. They have a goal in mind and they will reach that goal no matter how hard it is to achieve.

However, they will neglect everything else that needs attention while going for their targeted goal, and in that way, they end up feeling drained and completely unbalanced.

5. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)

Because Virgo is never really comfortable with any of their choices, they make a point of trying extra hard to find something they can believe in. The irony is that, the harder they try, the further away from comfort they get.

This is because Virgo doesn't trust their own intuition, so they are never able to create a situation for themselves that feels stable or balanced.

6. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)

We all know that Scorpio craves blood, and we also know that blood isn't always easy to get, and what I mean by "blood" is that Scorpio craving for other people's misfortune. You think I'm kidding, I'm sure, but I'm not.

Scorpio's dire need for the pain of friends and family is so great that, when not fulfilled, they have no idea what to do with themselves. A very unbalanced state of mind!
