Adidas could become Real Madrid's main ally as Los Blancos look to secure the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The German brand are looking to secure a deal to represent the Norwegian striker following the conclusion of his contract with Nike in January, and they are going to great lengths to do so.

According to Bild, on February 7, a secret meeting took place at Adidas headquarters, with Haaland, his father and his close circle joined by Zinedine Zidane, as well as Michu, Haaland's childhood idol.

The aim was to convince Haaland to sign with Adidas, and the presence of Zidane in the meeting was viewed as decisive in order to achieve this objective.

Should the 21-year-old sign a contract with Adidas, this could make an eventual move to Real Madrid more straightforward.

This is due to the direct association between the German brand and the club and the fact that it already represents many of the club's players.

What is strange is the fact that it could be Zidane who creates the path for Haaland to move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, with the likelihood of the French coach taking charge at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer growing by the day.
