Personal Statement

My name is Aidan Smith and I am a senior at Kenton Ridge High school in Springfield, OH. I have been playing soccer for about 8 years now, since I started club in third grade (U10). Being a lefty, I always found myself playing anywhere along the left side of the field, whether it was defense, working in the midfield, or anywhere up top. I can easily adapt to any position, and no matter where I am on the field, I use the best of my ability to help my team. This year, I start varsity as left back, left mid and even up top as a forward and have quickly become familiar with the other positions, and enjoy playing all of them.  Being on the field and helping my team compete and have success is the most important part of my game.   I am very team-oriented on and off the field.  I will continue to put forth the work to become a better player and contributor for my team at the next level.
