These are the words that describe me best.  

I believe the key to success is to constantly challenge yourself. I have always been someone who has been up for a challenge. Whether it is choosing the hardest language to learn in school (Mandarin), taking Honors and AP classes,  or registering for some of the most challenging golf tournaments.   I have always valued pushing myself and would love to continue pursuing a rigorous golf and academic career at the college level. 

Perseverance.  Golf inherently builds the qualities of perserverence and resilience.  I have been most proud of my summer tournaments where I have been able to come back after shooting 77 to shoot 70 on day 2.  Or to come back from  being +4 after 5 holes only to par the remaining holes.   I've learned to never count myself out and to never give up!  

Philanthropy.  I am also very involved in community service, specifically combining my passions of golf and giving back to others. Over the last 5 years, I have organized and participated in a golf marathon where each year I challenge myself to play more golf holes in one day than the year prior. Last August I played my record 292 holes in one day and look to break that record this year!! Throughout these fundraising efforts, I have raised over $50,000 for my local First Tee Chapter and the Wisconsin Junior PGA Foundation. 

I am looking for a school that wants a student-athlete who embraces a challenge and is ready to put in the hard work both academically and athletically.  I will be a worthy ambassador for any school and golf program and I will make you proud of your choice.
