While working in contemporary art at Team Gallery, Alexandra began writing about fashion for small publications. She has now been contributing to outlets including Coveteur and Vogue.com for more than twelve years. Alexandra has been consulting and writing for private clients including Spinelli Kilcollin and VENUS ET FLEUR for more than a decade.

Alexandra also designs jewelry with her father for Tony Malmed Jewelry.

I never, ever take off my favorite pieces of jewelry. I've worn a pink sapphire ring designed by my father 24/7 for more than 21 years. Other pieces that I refuse to be without include three necklaces and a rough top Lapis ring by my father, a Spinelli Kilcollin linked ring, a gold choker that belonged to my grandmother, and my Cartier Love Bracelet.

Dual degrees in Contemporary Art History and Non-Fiction Writing from Parsons and Eugene Lang, The New School, graduated with honors.
