Andrew Taggart is an American DJ known as one half of the famous DJ duo ‘The Chainsmokers’, alongside Alex Pall. The two met and experimented with indie music remixes. He soon joined ‘The Chainsmokers’ as a replacement for Rhett. Andrew was born on December 31, 1989 in Portland, Maine.

The two performed live for the first time as the opening act for American band “Timeflies” in New York. They made their breakthrough with their single “#Selfie,” which reached No. 1 on the “Dance/Electronic Songs” chart. Their second hit was “Roses,” which earned them “multiplatinum” status in the United States. This was followed by the release of their debut EP, ‘Bouquet’.

The song reached “multiplatinum” status in 2015 in the United States and many other countries around the world. They released their first EP, ‘Bouquet’, in October 2015. It featured the song ‘Roses’, along with other hit numbers such as ‘Waterbed’, ‘New York City’ and ‘Until You Were Gone’.

In March 2016, they performed at the “Ultra Music Festival,” where Andrew publicly denounced then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. The duo earned 18th place on the “Top 100 DJ” list compiled by “DJ Magazine” in October 2016.

Their debut studio album, “Memories…Do Not Open,” was released in April 2017 and was certified platinum. It covered 40 North American cities. The tour also featured singers Kiiara and Emily Warren.
