Arsenal Players That Have Scored Hat Tricks in the EPL Era | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Daniel Santos Recently I was looking through the programs from the Arsenal games that I have attended over the past 12 years. It was then I realized that I was lucky enough to be in the stands for two games in which Thierry Henry scored a hat trick for the Gunners.
The first occurred on my initial visit to Highbury on Boxing Day 2000, as Arsenal played host to Leicester City. Henry scored three for the home side, while Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg and captain Tony Adams each added goals in an easy 6-1 victory.
The second took place during Arsenal's last season at Highbury. I travelled to London on January 14, 2006, and the Gunners again came up big. Henry tallied three goals once more. Also on the score sheet that day was Philippe Senderos, Robert Pires, Gilberto Silva and Alexander Hleb. Highbury was rocking, as the Gunners inflicted a 7-0 beating upon Steve McClaren's Middlesbrough.
