Ayumi was born in Tokyo, Japan, but Las Vegas, Nevada is where she called home for most of her childhood until she decided to join the Army. She served for about six years as a Maintenance Sergeant in a military profession dominated by alpha male stereotypes who second-guessed everything she accomplished because she was a female.

The challenge only made her stronger and more determined. After about 8 years and a very accomplished military career Ayumi decided to change her career path to the medical field as a Dental Hygienist. 

Ayumi met her husband during a combat deployment to the middle east and tied the knot 3 years later. She now has a blended family of three beautiful girls.

As her Tiktok grew, her Instagram followers grew as well surpassing 80,000 followers with over 30 million views and likes.

Her specialty is creating funny and relatable reels about women empowerment, relationships, and family.  Ayumi and her family have been featured on BET, Essence, a Bravo reality show, and worked with brands like Proactiv, Nickelodeon, Levian Jewelry, Ad council, FabFitFun and much more.
