Francis Ngannou questioned his next rival, Tyson Fury's height, claiming he is much shorter than advertised. In a recent TV face-off, the Cameroonian boxer claimed that the Englishman is around 6 feet 5 inches, tops.

"They say he is 6ft 9in. I mean, this doesn't look like a five-inch difference, right?"Ngannou said. "They say I'm about 6ft 4in... I would say you are 6ft 5in," the Cameroonian speculated.

Nevertheless, Tyson took notice that Francis might be overselling his own height. "How tall are you? I think you are really about 6ft 2in," the "Gypsy King" countered.

Carl Frampton, the show's host, calmed things down, pointing out that his height is also often exaggerated as 5ft 5in when he is half an inch shorter.

Fury vs Ngannou tale of the tape

Other than height, Fury will bring some more advantages to their October 28 fight.

At 278 pounds, he is heavier than "The Predator," who stands at 262lb. He is also younger at 34 years compared to Ngannou's 36. The Englishman's reach is also longer at 80 inches compared to Ngannou's 83 inches.

However, Fury's most significant advantage will be that he is far more experienced than Ngannou. The "Gypsy King" will arrive in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with 34 professional boxing fights: 33 wins, no losses, and one tie.

"The Predator," on his part, will be making his professional boxing debut after a successful MMA career, where he boasts a 17-3-0 record in the UFC circuit.

The Englishman is so confident about his victory that he has already signed a deal for a match against Oleksandr Usyk, the WBO, WBA, and IBF titleholder.
