Brendan Whitworth family includes his parents Sara Whitworth and Michael Whitworth, and older sister Kelty Whitworth. Brendan grew up with them in Delaware.

Brendan's father Michael Whitworth is a medical doctor. Michael practiced in Alapocas Woods, an area just outside Wilmington, Delaware where Brendan and his older sister Kelty were raised together. Much about his mom Sara is not available on the web.

Whitworth's grandfather was a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officer. He served under President Herbert Hoover in the early 1930s. Brendan's background shaped his career as he wanted to follow both his father and grandfather but ended up in the Military at last.

Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth's parents and sister were worried when he was stationed outside of US soil in Iraq and Pakistan following the 911 attack. His older sister Kelty Whitworth urged him to leave his CIA career behind and return, according to Daily Mail. 

Kelty, who had attended Harvard and was an All-American swimmer at Ursuline Academy previously, insisted on leaving the CIA and getting out of there. Brendan agreed to forgo his CIA career only if he got into Harvard. 

Brendan prepared for his GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) while he served as a CIA operative in Bagdad circa 2005 and gave his test at his cousin's house before reuniting with his sister and parents to attend Harvard.
