Personal Statement

I am Bryan Corrigan, a 2 sport athlete at Yorkville High School in the Chicago far west suburbs. I consider myself a very competitive person, who makes everything a competition. While baseball is the sport I love the most and want to compete in at the next level, I also enjoy playing basketball as a second sport.    

I believe that playing multiple sports shows my strong competitive attitude. Playing multiple sports allows me to become a more disciplined person on and off the court.

In middle school I placed 8th place in the 4x400 relay team with a time of 4:03.  I also qualified for state in  cross country for 7th and 8th grade as well as qualified for track and field in 8th grade. 

I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old and been playing travel baseball since 8u. While I understand and could play any position needed, I love playing outfield and also pitch. I have aptitude to play every position on the baseball diamond and my freshman year was utilized that way. I would consider myself a motivated student who has been on the honor roll every semester of high school.
