Personal Statement

My desire is to play college baseball while studying to obtain my Bachelor of Arts degree. I have played baseball since the age of 5 years old and I play year round. I am being raised by my Grandparents, who I consider to be my mom & dad, my mom passed away giving birth to me. I currently have an IEP (Independent learning plan) and I work very hard to keep my grade point average up so that I can play baseball. My grade point average during my first 3 years of high school has not dropped below a 3.69. I respect my teachers and coaches. 

My philosophy in playing baseball is the team comes first and I give 100% effort in support of the team. Second, I believe it is important to keep myself in the best shape possible and to be ready to play at all times. Finally, and most importantly, I listen and respect the instructions of my coaches and other assistant's in striving to meet the goals that they expect of me. 

I have been fortunate to play in National Tournaments, as well as local ones, and I have traveled all over the country playing baseball. I have been invited by Under Armour Baseball Factory to participate in The All Academic All American Classic in Vero Beach, Florida.  I consider this an amazing opportunity to improve my skills and to meet players and coaches from around the country. I am looking forward to my Varsity Baseball Season that starts in January 2023. By the grace of God and a thank you to my family & coaches I am committed to a 4 year private College.
