Kroeger and Marianna were together for six years and eight months. The couple met after Kroeger spotted Goriuk at the Edmonton concert. She was a hairdresser who had cut his grandmother's hair.
Goriuk, who had a six-acre farm where she kept two horses outside Camrose, moved to Vancouver in May 2002.
Kroeger supported her interest in horses and bought her a Dutch Warmblood mare for her birthday.
While they were together, they planned many parties for which she claimed to have conducted considerable preparation and cleanup.
They spent unlimited amounts to improve their properties. They ordered expensive food and wine, took private jets to Mexico and other places, hired helicopters at the last minute to fly to Vancouver for the evening and travelled in limousines.
The couple, who were never married and had no children, called it splits in August 2009, with Goriuk moving out in September of that year.
Since the separation, Kroeger, 36, has been paying Goriuk, 40, interim spousal support of $10,000 each month.
