Charles Lee Dixon, Jr. , known as “Cezar”, left us on February 11, 2019. He fought a good fight and finished his course. Charles was born in Cranston, RI on April 14, 1975 to the late Charles and Macey Dixon.

Charles received his spiritual learning at an early age at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Though he no longer attended, he knew the bible and could tell you about God.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his companion, Toya Williams; five sons, Amir, Khair, Ka’Sam, K’ahri, and Kyree; 6 daughters, Kiara, Aja, Daisha, Imam, Akya, Kibara; one grandson, Kayden;  4 sisters, Donna(Ryta) Barnes, Debra Freison( Herb) of Portsmouth, VA., Pamela  Peiter(Tyrone)of New Bern, NC., and Gerutha Anthony( Christopher) of Norfolk, VA; 3  brothers, Kevin Dixon(Erica) of New Bern, NC, DaJuan Dixon (Cynthia) and Anthony Yarborough of Portsmouth, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts , and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Stephon Dixon and Kenneth Yarborough, and one sister, Marsha McBride.

Even the strongest of us have moments when burdens of life seem too great. It’s then that the Lord whispers to our hearts……….

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.
