Christian Joyner's Football Recruiting Profile
Sarah Rodriguez Personal Statement
Starting as a student athlete at a newly opened high school with so many team mates uncertain of what the new football program would be, is where I found my strengths. I feel I’ve grown in this aspect. I started with the enthusiasm of wanting our Spartan team to be as successful as any school in the County. I was just as enthusiastic and excited as the coaches and knew that there was no room for uncertainty with our goal.
I dedicated myself to the success of our program and was fortunate enough to become a starter in my freshman year playing JV and three years on the Varsity. Our team is still pushing forwarded and as enthusiastic as the first day the program started. My collegiate goal is to continue to play through college and possibly higher than that. However, achieving the goal of graduating and obtaining my degree in the field of Physical Therapy is just as important.
I’m searching for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the work ethic and commitment to make an impact on your program.
I have a sign posted on my bathroom mirror that was given to me by my father, since I started playing, (I was 8 years old) and it reads; "Hard Work Pays Off--Make Plays---Stay Ready." I live by this motto every day. I have a love and the passion for the sport and if given the opportunity, I know I will be a valuable asset to any team.
