The Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, publicly announced Harles Drummond’s passing on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the age of 79.

The funeral home reports that the following services have been planned: On November 13, 2022, beginning at 10:00 p.m and concluding at 6:00 p.m, there will be a visitation at the Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. 

The funeral ceremony will be held at First Presbyterian Disciples Church on November 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. (Pawhuska).

The cause of Chuck Drummond’s death has never been revealed. He passed away quietly while sleeping.

His Daughter In Law Posted A Message For Him

Chuck Drummond, Ree Drummond’s father-in-law, passed away on November 4, and she is grieving.

Drummond described Chuck as a one-of-a-kind father-in-law after reflecting on how wonderful a parent and grandfather he was.

Chuck was known as Papa, according to a post by his daughter-in-law. He raised three sons, imparted all of his ranching knowledge to them, and then did the same for his six grandchildren. 

In his 79 years, he has lived so much and seen everything. All of his grandchildren knew that he was happiest when he was working and that you should never ever say you’re bored around Pa-Pa because he’ll give you enough work to make you never again feel bored! 

Chuck had a gravelly voice and might come off as stern, but in reality, he was a kind and giving man who valued his family above all else.

He maintained relationships with distant cousins, planned family gatherings, and saw to it that ties were kept strong throughout time. Pa-Pa, you are very adored by us. 

We appreciate you allowing all of us to share in your prosperous life.

Drummond informed her Facebook followers of her family’s death on November 6. ‘Many of you were familiar with Pa-Pa via my blog and food shows over the years, so I wanted to let you know this news. I appreciate your prayers, especially for Ladd, his brother Tim, and the six grandchildren,’ she said in her post.

On The Pioneer Woman website, Drummond wrote a blog entry titled ‘We love you Pa-Pa‘ in which she described how it was such a sorrowful goodbye for our family. 

‘Chuck, Ladd’s father, my children’s grandpa, and my one-of-a-kind father-in-law died away on Friday morning,’ she wrote.

‘I held off on sharing for a few days so that we could talk to our extended family, take a deep breath, and cry but I knew I wanted to share with you since you have all seen pictures and read stories about Chuck since the start of my blog. He had been deteriorating for the previous two months, and we knew his time was running out, Drummond continued. He passed away quietly while sleeping.’
