Personal Statement

When life hands you lemons make lemonade, many say. But why make lemonade when you could make a sorbet? I guess what I am getting at is, why be a follower when you could be a leader? In my day to day life I am a leader, whether I am on the field or in the classroom. I take charge of my life, with help from my family, teachers and coaches of course. On the field my coaches rely on me to take charge of the defence and fulfill the position of a role model. In the classroom I am a straight A student with a GPA of 4.0. On the lacrosse field I am part of many teams, yet the most prestigious being Team BC, a provincial team and Team Germany, a National Team.
