Personal Statement

** I have recently committed to the University of South Dakota to play football ** Jan. 2016

Basketball is my passion.  I would love to play basketball in college.  I consider myself a quiet leader, a great team player, and like playing the game the right way.  Being a multi-sport athlete (basketball, football and golf) has taught me to work hard, to contribute in different ways to the team, and to learn from multiple coaching methods.

I am a 3-year starter and 3-time leading scorer and rebounder for my high school team (Iowa Class 3A WaMaC Conference). In 2016 I reached 1,000 career points as a varsity player.  I've received unanimous 1st team All-Conference awards in both 2A and 3A classes. I was one of 3 captains of the team, and received All-District 3A Substate 4 award in 2015. Ranked 12th in the class of 2016 by PrepHoopsIA.com as of Summer 2015.

With my football background (1st Team All-District in 2014), I am a physical player who takes pride in defense, but can also post-up or shoot the 3 and handle the ball.
