For many years, there have been attempts to put together Johnny Depp and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in the same film. Being two of Disney's most prolific actors, thinking about them both as potential saviors of the Disney company is not that farfetched. In fact, we could pretty much guarantee any animated film having them both as the leading roles is an almost secured slam dunk. But it's one thing having a billion dollar movie and another one to actually save Disney from its demise. What has been affecting Disney for many years cannot be saved by a single film. Bob Iger's recent flirt with the idea of selling the company has an understandable reason behind it.

For many years, Disney has managed to absorb multiple companies from different parts of the entertainment industry while having to meet bulked-up deadlines of countless projects. Naturally, some divisions will deliver less impressive results as the number of projects keeps going up. Dieny has been affected by the business machinery for decades and they are just feeling the negative effects it was baound to bring. Trying to make a movie where two of Hollywood's biggest stars collide is hardly the quick solution. It would be a good start but other projects with great substance need to also begin.

How can Disney be saved from a sell?

First of all, movie studios need to reach an agreement with writers and actors in order to get better conditions for workers. They also need to create regulation for artificial intelligence that can protect actors and writers from all tiers across the industry. Pretty much all the demands they have are reasonable and they need to reach an agreement where they are happy. After that is solved, we can start by cutting down ideas from studio heads and allow creatives to get more involved in the production process. This includes picking the products they want to put out for the public. This is the best way Disney can be saved but will it even happen or are they doomed for a deconstruction?
