The Dallas Cowboys will face the Green Bay Packers this Sunday in Week 10 of the NFL's 2022 season, but both franchises are living very different realities at the moment.

The Packers have lost five straight games after starting the season with a 3-1 record through four weeks, dealing with many injuries to key players and with the back-to-back MVP of the league, Aaron Rodgers, not performing his best on the field.

The end of head coach Mike McCarthy's tenure with the Green Bay Packers wasn't all that smooth, but let's face it that's how breakups are.

McCarthy managed to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy with the team and gave the Packers their fourth Super Bowl title. Despite him apparently not ending in good terms with Aaron Rodgers, time appears to heal all wounds and the quarterback said that his former coach helped him a lot and he appreciates the time they spent together.

On the other side, McCarthy admitted to the media that this game will sure be emotional for him, due to the attachment he feels towards the city that he called home for many years.
