Shots were fired during the concert and one of the guns hit the head of Cristina. She was the wife of Ivan Torres. Ivan Torres is a Paraguayan professional footballer who plays for side Olimpia. Cristina Vita Aranda was survived by her husband Ivan Torres and three sons. On 1st January 2021, she shared a picture of her three sons with the caption “My reason for being”. Later, on 1st February 2021, Ivan posted on his Instagram timeline describing his love for his only wife Cristina. He revealed that they had been together for the last 11 years. According to the reports both Cristina and Ivan were there at the Jose Asuncion Flores Amphitheater and were settled in the VIP area where the gunshot erupted. According to the reports, Cristina was shot in the head and was later transferred to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The death was confirmed by the director Yolanada Gonzalez of Itaugua Nacional Hospital. He made a statement that reads like, “she was intubated when arrived … .attempts were made to resuscitate her at least for 25 minutes. She went into cardiac arrest…she died after a lengthy attempt to save her life..” also, her death was confirmed on her Instagram account.
