Social media sensation Salt Bae was on the receiving end of plenty of criticism for his behavior after the full-time whistle on Sunday night as Argentina were crowned World Champions.

After the match ended, Salt Bae made his way onto the pitch to take photos with the players with several other VIP's. He was given exclusive access to the team along with several FIFA officials and former Argentian football legends.

The entrepreneur was heavily criticized for bothering the players and pestering them for photos. He also enraged the global football community after he handled the World Cup trophy itself, which is something considered almost sacred that only the victorious team has the right to do.

After seeing this, fellow social media sensation Dan Bilzerian shared his opinion on the incident. Bilzerian claimed his Instagram 'colleague' has always been 'weird' and uploaded a video to his stories explaining how. "Everyone talking about how weird this Salt Bae is, I be knowing that for years", said the caption of the video, which then went on to show quite literally hundreds of unanswered DMs from Salt Bae on his account.

The photos included all sorts of random material, including pictures of Salt Bae with steaks, puppies and even topless snaps.

"What a f**king goofball", was the American's summary of the chef.
