TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Arsenal are to sign David Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn Beckham when he reaches 16 in March. Brooklyn Beckham has so far played for Arsenal junior team of U-16.

According to FA regulation, a club can recruit young player when he reaches 16 years old. However, professional contract is only allowed for player above 17. Therefore, Brooklyn Beckham will have to wait until 2016 to take on Arsenal jersey.

Prior to his time in Arsenal, Brooklyn Beckham had been practicing with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Fulham. Although his senior, former England skipper David Beckham, is a Manchester United legend, he opted playing in London instead of Manchester.
