Baby Daylen Grey Evans, seven days old transition to heaven in his parents’ arms at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia on March 9, 2022.
Daylen is the son of Shania Corbin and Donta Evans, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia. He was the answer to their prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyful expectations. During his brief stay here with us, he gave us a lifetime of love and memories to cherish, and he surely felt the love and joy of his parents. Daylen is loved by his family, and he will be greatly remembered and missed.
In addition to his parents, left to mourn and cherish his memories are his grandmother Zondrea Corbin of Woodbridge, VA, grandfather DeShawn Long of Warrenton, VA, great grandmother Betty Morton of Manassas, maternal great grandmother Andrea Craig (aka, Nanna) of Warrenton, VA, great grandfather Herbert Corbin, Jr. of Culpeper, VA, great-great grandmother Mrs. Ellen Craig (aka, Nanny) of Warrenton, VA, paternal grandmother Esther Lawrence of Portsmouth, VA, grandfather Donta Evans, Sr. of Norfolk, VA, great grandmother Gloria Lynn Evans of Norfolk, VA, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
