Devon Conway has been one of the most consistent players on the New Zealand cricket team, and he proved his class yet again by scoring his 4th test hundred in the 2nd test of the 2-match series at the National Stadium in Karachi against Pakistan. He missed his hundred in the 1st test but made no mistake this time around.

New Zealand opted to bat first on a flat road, and the Kiwi batters took full advantage of it. Conway added 134 runs for the first wicket with his partner Tom Latham. Latham got out after scoring his half-century, but Conway continued. He completed his century on the 1st ball of the 52nd over on Mir Hamza’s delivery.

Conway got out after scoring 122 runs on Agha Salman’s delivery which turned a little, and Conway poked it. Throughout his innings, Conway was comfortable in both attack and defense. The test career of Conway has been great so far, and he would want to continue in the 2nd innings as well.

Devon Conway was born in South Africa, but he started playing international cricket for New Zealand. Conway’s father’s name is Denton Conway, who is a soccer coach in Johannesburg, whereas Sandy Conway is Devon’s mother. He also has two sisters in Candy Conway and Charne Conway.

Devon married his longtime girlfriend Kim Watson in 2022, who shifted from South Africa to New Zealand to be with him. Both of them do not have any children yet. Conway was born in 1991 in Johannesburg but shifted to New Zealand in 2017 to embark on his cricketing journey, where he got a contract with Wellington.
