Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Donald Boone. I'm 6'4" 250lbs offensive lineman currently attending Duluth High School. I have several goals and aspirations to include getting an education and achieving the opportunity to play football on a collegiate level. I want to compete at a high level and against other kids with the same talent r better as I strive to become a better player.
    I believe I'm a good candidate for your team because during my football career I have learned in order to be successful you have to be coachable, quick learner, understand your surroundings, and also lead by example. Although I'm listed as an offensive lineman, I have the ability to play defensive end and or tight end. I have the versatility to play different positions.
     In my opinion, what separate me from other potential candidates other than my athletic abilities, is that I'm a good kid and a team player. I enjoy helping other students to the point that I'm a tutor. Whenever someone asks for my assistance, I help out. I do like to have fun just like any other kid, but I also understands when it's time to work.... it's time to work.
     I know I would be a valuable asset to any team athletically, spiritually, and academicilcly. It would be my pleasure Finally to be part of a team that has high expectations for itself and provide me an opportunity to come in and contribute to the program
