Amber Heard reportedly did not approve of her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk's decision to share a photograph of her in cosplay.

The billionaire tech magnate posted the aforementioned image on Tuesday through a tweet to confirm a story recounted in Walter Isaacson's new biography about him. In the picture, Heard was dressed as the video game character Mercy from 'Overwatch'.

According to a Page Six source with knowledge of the situation, the actress had not granted Elon permission to use the photo, which was intended to remain private, and felt particularly hurt by this action.

"Elon had asked her multiple times to speak with Walter [for the book]," the insider noted.

Eventually, she did cooperate, out of respect for Elon. In the biography titled 'Elon Musk,' Isaacson provided details about how the actress went on a quest to acquire the alluring outfit after the Tesla co-founder commented that she resembled the blonde hero.

Musk proceeded to share a picture of his then-girlfriend in this costume on his social media account.

The photograph seemed to be taken with a cellphone in a domestic setting, depicting Heard wearing a latex bodysuit with a revealing neckline, along with angelic wings and a golden halo headpiece.
