Ethan Federman's Men's Soccer Recruiting Profile
Daniel Foster Personal Statement
Playing soccer in college has been a lifelong dream. I have a real passion for the game which drives me to put in the extra time. If you ask my coaches, they will say that they made me captain because of my leadership qualities such as communication, holding teammates accountable and motivating the team. I also believe I lead by example as I always play hard whether in games or practices.
In 2016 I got the experience to travel to Manchester, England with my club soccer team and play 7 games in 8 days against tough British teams. It was a blast and really helped me elevate my game. I was top scorer, top assisting player and named MVP of the tour. In England I learned their style of play and how I could apply it to my Club play.
Also, I have always enjoyed running fast. I am on my high school track team and run the sprints. I ran the #5 fastest time ever as a sophomore at my school for the 100 (11.58) and the #5 fastest ever as a sophomore at my school for the 200 (23.76). Also I received the MVP award for our Boys track team this year. I never ran varsity but I earned my varsity letter by running a time to qualify for the varsity league finals. As a Junior, I ran varsity and improved on my personal records, running 11:46 in the 100 meter and 23:12 in the 200 meter sprints.
