For some zodiac signs, forgiveness comes easily. Whether these zodiac signs forgive and forget is one thing, but learning how to not take everything to heart is another.

On the other hand, there are zodiac signs who have a hard time forgiving others, let alone trying to forget they have been lied to.

These are the zodiac signs who will tell you everything is cool but still bring up what you did to them weeks or months later in a fight.

These zodiac signs tend to think that they are owed something and won’t forgive you until you apologize for something specific.

ARIES (March 21 - April 19)

The way you can forgive a liar, Aries, is by letting go of all the anger that comes with being betrayed by someone. You can be a hothead at times, but you generally don’t hold onto those negative feelings for too long.

Your best bet is to let yourself be angry – because you have been lied to, after all – but not to hold onto those feelings forever. Feel it, then let go. You CAN forgive and forget, but you need to actively work on making that choice.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

You may be able to forgive, Taurus, but you really aren’t that great at forgetting. There’s just something about remembering what other people have done to you that you wouldn’t give up for the world.

The way you can forgive a liar is by putting yourself in their shoes. You like to think that you’re infallible, and above mistake, which is why you have a hard time letting others off the hook. But if you think about how the other person feels (and how sorry they are), maybe you can become better at forgiving AND forgetting.

GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)

One of your best qualities is communication, Gemini. You are so good at getting your point across and letting people know how you feel that it’s a wonder you haven’t started charging other zodiac signs for a master class in the subject.

The way you can forgive a liar is by using your superior communication skills. Tell them exactly how this experience has made you feel and why you’re unsure about letting the whole thing go. Even if it still takes you a while to forgive them, they will at least know what’s going on in your head.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22)

As a water sign, it can be hard for you to separate your emotions from the facts, Cancer. This isn’t always a bad thing, but when it comes to choosing whether or not to forgive a liar, it can make you a little more biased (and inclined not to forgive).

That said, your emotional side can still be helpful in learning how to forgive a liar. Try using your empathy to see things from the other person’s perspective. It may still be hard, but your compassionate nature can help you understand and forgive.

LEO (July 23 - August 22)

You’re a fire sign, Leo, which means that when someone betrays you or lies to you, you can blaze with anger for a long time. In fact, it can take quite a long time until you start to feel like yourself again and can even think about forgiving that person.

This anger can completely blind you from being the bigger person and forgiving a liar. Instead of getting hung up on the lie, try being more thoughtful and intentional in the present.
