You unlocked all the suits in Marvel's Spider-Man and got that little 100% badge and the trophy, right? Good job.

But you didn't get all the suits. There's a secret one you might not know about.

The ESU suit is completely off the grid and if you're unlocking it without any outside help it's something you'll probably be doing after you've finished the main story. Here's what you need to know.

How to unlock the secret ESU suit

The secret suit requires a set of secret objectives to be carried out. To unlock the ESU suit you need to complete the 50 secret photo ops littered across Manhattan. Sounds easy, right?

Except they don't show up on the map and when you do take one you'll have no record other than your own memory of you taking it. So it can be a little tricky. That said, it's perfectly possible to hit all 50 without taking the easy way out and following someone else's steps!

The secret photo ops don't appear on the map, but they can appear on your minimap as you're swinging through the city. But to see them you'll first need to reach level 50.

From here, go into your suit mods menu and the last one will be unlocked, the proximity sensor. You need this equipped to be able to see the secret photo ops.

How to find and complete the secret photo ops

With the proximity sensor mod equipped, every time you come close to a secret photo op you'll see a camera icon appear on your minimap. This is the only in-game marker you'll ever get for them, so keep one eye in the bottom corner as you move around.

Early on they'll be pretty easy to come across as you move around, and Harlem, in particular, has a fairly decent spread of them.

When you find an icon, equip your camera by pressing up on the D-pad, then L2 to frame.

Assuming you have the shot framed up correctly, the overlay on the screen will turn green. Press R1 to snap the photo. Taking shots is the same as for the regular landmarks, the difference being nothing will show on either your main map or minimap to say you already completed it.

After each secret photo op, you'll get a message on screen telling you how many of the 50 you've done. Once you've snapped all of them the ESU suit will automatically unlock, and as with the Dark and Homemade suits, there's no associated power.

And that's all there is to it. It's important to note that you don't need either this suit or the secret photo ops completed in order to achieve 100% game completion or get the trophy for having all the suits. But let's face it, if you're playing Spider-Man you want all the suits there are!
