The Marvel Stadium in Melbourne is set to witness a historic match between George Kambosos Jr. and Devin Haney on Sunday, June 5. However, George missed weight prior to the match which surprised the fans and the Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard as well.

The 31-year-old point guard flew to Australia to witness the iconic match and was seen expressing his thoughts to Devin Haney.

Lillard said, “He can move, and you know, he jab well, he got good feet, he athletic, he tall, long… I think he’s gonna be trouble and I think he’s gonna, he gonna come correct. You know what I mean? I think he gonna come correct and I think he gonna have the best performance of his career, you know. I can see it, I see it coming. It wouldn’t surprise me if he ain’t get a decision over there either though.”

Watch Lillard’s reaction after things got heated between Kambosos and Haney. Moreover, Damian also received harsh reactions from George’s fans. However, he faced the heat from the fans like a hero and said that he felt great to be here a second time. He further added, “George is a champ and he definitely has a chance”.
