Jamal Woolard: From Rapper to Actor

Jamal Woolard, known by his stage name “Gravy,” is an American rapper, comedian, and actor with a net worth of $500 thousand. Woolard began his career in the early 2000s as a rap artist and has since released five mixtapes, including “Notorious Gravy” in 2009.

Woolard is most recognized for his role as the Notorious B.I.G. in the film “Notorious.” He received multiple nominations for his acting in the biopic.

In 2006, Woolard was shot in front of Hot 97 Studios in New York but continued to record his interview after the altercation. Three years later, while attending the premiere of “Notorious” in North Carolina, he was shot again, resulting in a hospital stay and the shutdown of the film’s premiere.

Despite his experiences with gun violence, Woolard has continued to pursue his career in the entertainment industry.
