Inspired by the man of the evening himself, Karl Lagerfeld, Chastain wore her hair sleek, straight, and cascading down her back. But if you're a known lover of her fiery red hairdo and were disheartened to learn that she had made a major hair transformation, don't worry — it's a wig. The Cut asked Chastain if the change was permanent, and she assured fans that it was not. "It's not forever," she told the camera. "It's for Karl."

She paired her platinum 'do with a classic smoky eye and nude lips, making her hair the real star of her beauty look.
