Jim Steinman’s Successful Career in Music and Theater

Jim Steinman, an American lyricist, composer, and record producer, has a net worth of $10 million dollars. He attended Amherst College where he wrote multiple musicals, one of which caught the attention of famed producer Joseph Papp. Steinman continued to write musicals throughout the 70s and in 1977, he teamed up with Meatloaf to write “Bat Out of Hell”. It was a success as soon as it was released, after years of trying to get a record company to purchase the album. Steinman went on to write hit songs, theme songs, and musicals such as “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, “Holding Out for a Hero”, “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now”, and the “Shrek 2” soundtrack. In 2012, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
