John Mayer high school girlfriend earned everybody’s attention after John Mayer wanted everyone to know that his song “Your Body Is a Wonderland” has nothing to do with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt.

He is one of the biggest heartthrobs in Hollywood and has romanced some severe A-listers.

Although he has seemingly stepped out of the dating pool in recent years, the musician has wooed celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz, and Taylor Swift.

The “Gravity” singer has repeatedly emphasized that the 2001 song is actually about a lady that he dated in high school and not the 9-1-1 star for literally decades now.

On the podcast, Mayer revealed, “That was about my first relationship. That was the sensation, which was, in my opinion, already somewhat sentimental. When I created that song, I was 21 years old and missing being 16.”

The subject of John Mayer’s song “Your Body Is a Wonderland” is not for his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Hewitt, but rather a high school love.

Hewitt and John had a brief relationship in 2002, which led some people to believe that she served as the model for the character who had “skin like porcelain/one pair of chocolates.”

Mayer seemed at ease with his status as a serial dater. On his Instagram program, Current Mood, Mayer estimated that he has slept with “a soft 500” women. 

He once told TV host Andy Cohen that his girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence, avoided him because of his relationship history.

Over five years, they renewed their romance “nearly nine times,” according to Jessica Simpson, before deciding to call it quits.

Only from June to August of 2002 did the couple date. They may have just had a brief affair over the summer, but their liaison gave rise to decades-long pop cultural legend.

Hewitt appeared in Mayer’s “Your Body is a Wonderland” music video, released in 2001.

People believed the song had been composed about her even though this timeframe didn’t add up.

Hewitt has often claimed that she isn’t self-centered and doesn’t believe the song is about her. “My body is not a magical place, and my body resembles a pawn shop.” 

Following the breakup of Mayer and Hewitt, Mayer began to develop the poisonous bachelor reputation he has today.

Mayer then regretted that he could never even have s*x with Hewitt due to some terrible food poisoning.
