In the TikTok live video shared on Facebook, Roumie debunks the rumors saying, "according to the internet, I am apparently married to a woman named Diane in Canada. I don't know who that person is, I don't know where that (rumor) came from."
Although Jonathan has never shared images or videos with his life partner on the web, he does comes live or share updates with his work partner actress and director Maria Vargo on his Facebook and Instagram.

Jonathan was down to his last 20 dollars and 80 dollars overdraft one morning when he decided to surrender to the lord. That Saturday morning in May 2018 he surrendered everything to God, handed over his problems to the savior, and left the helm of his life under God's will. However, circumstances did not change but he did feel light, reports Fox News.
Miraculously, he received four checks in his mailbox later that day in the afternoon, solving most of his financial problems. The sources of the fund still remain obscure to the actor to this day.
Jonathan still credits the day he surrendered his life and career to God for landing the role of the big man himself in the crowd-funded television series The Chosen, adds the Fox News article. He received a phone call from the maker Jenkins three months later for the role.
Roumie has already portrayed the main character in the television series for three seasons each containing 8 episodes.
