Personal Statement

My name is Justin Keller, I am currently a Junior at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax VA.  I just transferred to Robinson from the International School of Brussels where I was a Varsity starter my freshman and sophomore year. I primarily play corner infield and pitcher, but I can play outfield and middle infield as well. My goal is to play at the highest level possible, and I am willing to put in as much work as I need to to get there.  To continue to improve as a student and a ball player there are a few things I am looking for in a college. First of all I would like to go to a college with a good marketing program, but also good overall academics, because I am not entirely sure what I want to study yet.  Secondly I want to play on a team with good coaches and good team chemistry, because for me team chemistry is one of the most important things in a baseball team.  I am a very hard worker, and I am almost always doing something that helps me improve as a person, as a student, or as an athlete.  I am very good at working with groups of people and I try my best to improve team chemistry as much as possible by always being positive, encouraging my teammates, and leading by example.
