She hasn’t been seen in public since mid-January, but a Kensington Palace source told People that Kate Middleton continues to be "doing well” in the aftermath of her abdominal surgery last month. 

Middleton’s surgery took place at the London Clinic on January 16. It was reportedly treating a health concern that was not cancer-related. After the surgery took place, the Palace shared that it would not be disseminating regular updates about her health and that Middleton would most likely not return to her public duties until the spring, after Easter.

The Princess of Wales has since been recovering at her family’s home, the Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

In a statement at the time of her surgery, the Palace said in an update, "The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible and her wish that her personal medical information remains private."

At the time, the Palace also noted that it would “only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.”

Prince William suddenly pulled out of an appearance at a memorial service for his godfather, King Constantine of Greece, on Tuesday, but it’s reportedly due to a personal issue unrelated to Middleton’s health, according to PEOPLE magazine.
