Sophia Dalton Hit US quiz show Jeopardy! is back this New Year with all-new celebrity episodes. After launching the Celebrity Jeopardy! spin-off in 2022, season 2 arrived last fall and features a star-studded line-up. Contestant Katie Nolan took part in Celebrity Jeopardy! during the show’s January 9 episode and revealed what she did in preparation for quizzing.
Raring to go for the Celebrity Jeopardy! semi-finals this January were contestants Steven Weber, Katie Nolan, and Dulé Hill. The trio’s Jeopardy! experience began back in October and November last year, and their quizzing talents are seeing them into January. The season 2 semi-finals round three air on January 16 on ABC.
Who is Katie on Celebrity Jeopardy tonight?
Competing in the second round of Celebrity Jeopardy! semi-finals on January 9 is sports comedy host Katie Nolan.
She hails from Framingham, Massachusetts, and is 36 years old. Katie celebrates her birthday on January 28, making her an Aquarius on the zodiac.
The quiz show contestant attended Hofstra University in New York and graduated in 2009.
Some ABC viewers may recognize Katie from Apple TV’s Friday Night Baseball. The Jeopardy star’s sports commentating career began at Fox Sports 1 in 2013. She went on to work for ESPN three years later.

She’s been engaged to comedian Dan Soder since December 2022. Katie appeared as a guest on her fiancé’s podcast, Soder Podcast, in November last year.

Katie’s preparation for Celebrity Jeopardy
After making it through the rounds of Celebrity Jeopardy! season 2, Katie is heading to the finals.
Speaking of how she prepared for the show, she explained to host Ken Jennings:
“It’s tough because you don’t know what the categories are going to be, right? So, any time I didn’t know something that happened in my day-to-day, I Googled it. I don’t know that I retained any of it…”
She was ready to see if her two weeks of information cramming was to “pay off” during the semi-finals, and judging by her success so far, it did!
