Katie Taylor once again showed her quality by defeating and dominating Argentine Karen Carbajal for 10 rounds, the Irishwoman retained the lightweight titles of the four main boxing organizations: WBC, WBO, IBF and WBA.

Carbajal had a perfect 19-fight winning record, but came up against the best fighter in the world. Taylor dominated the fight at distance, with a lot of speed and excellent waist movement.

All three judges saw the champion win on cards of 100-91, 98-91 and 98-92.

In social networks Eddie Hearn and Paco Valcarcel, president of the WBO, hinted that a rematch against Amanda Serrano may be forthcoming.

Kiko Martinez crushed Jordan Gill

Former Spanish world champion Kiko Martinez beat up Jordan Gill to become the European featherweight champion. Martinez sent Gill to the canvas four times and finally ended the fight in the fourth round.

The fight was an eliminator for the IBF world title held by Josh Warrington.
