The Kuaron Harvey video on Twitter has ignited a global conversation on the devastating consequences that shook the St. Louis community.

Two young cousins, Kuaron Harvey, aged 14, and Paris Harvey, aged 12, lost their lives in a tragic accident that unfolded during an Instagram Live stream.

As the story unfolded, it became clear that this was not an act of intentional harm but a heartbreaking accident that took the lives of two vibrant and loved young individuals.

On that fateful night of March 25, 2022, as the cousins live-streamed on Instagram, an awful accident marked the end of their friendship and their innocent lives.  

The Kuaron Harvey video on Twitter that has since gone viral shows the two young kids playfully handling a gun while alone in a bathroom. 

It was in the midst of this innocent play that Paris unintentionally takes the life of her cousin, Kuaron, before claiming her own life as well.

The inseparable best friends, Kuaron and Paris 

Kuaron and Paris were more than just cousins; they were best friends who often referred to each other as brother and sister. 

Raised together by their grandmother, Susan Dyson, the duo shared a unique and close bond. Their days were filled with laughter, creativity, and the joy of exploring life together. 

From FaceTiming and making videos to rapping and pulling pranks, their shared adventures were a testament to the deep connection they shared.

The family’s reaction to the death of their kids

The St. Louis police initially classified the incident as a “murder-suicide,” but the family maintains that it was a “tragic accident.” 

Paris’ mother, Shinise Harvey, tearfully explained that her daughter had gone to the apartment to celebrate a family birthday. 

According to her, the gun went off accidentally while they were playing with it. Shinise expressed her belief that Paris had dropped the gun, causing it to discharge and strike Kuaron unintentionally. 

When Paris picked up the gun again, she grabbed it by the barrel, leading to another accidental discharge.

Paris and Kuaron’s grandmother, Susan Dyson, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing that the incident occurred without any argument or ill intention. 

She acknowledged that they should not have been handling the firearm, but it was a terrible mistake and not a deliberate act. 

The pistol was brought to the party by Kuaron, leaving detectives to investigate the case and uncover the exact sequence of events. The investigation is ongoing.
