Personal Statement

My goal is to attend a 4 year university and earn my degree.  At this point I am looking at business or engineering as a possible major.  I'm a solid student and attend one of the best public schools in the state of Illinois, Vernon Hills High School.  I also volunteer at food banks during my sports seasons.  Both of my parents have graduated from college and I want to follow in their footsteps.

I play 3 sports in high school (baseball, football and basketball), but hope to continue playing baseball in college.  I would love to play Division 1 baseball in the Midwest/South, but would look at all of my options to continue playing at the next level.  Ideally I would earn a scholarship in order to reduce the cost of college.

I am a team player that has fun playing the game (regardless of the sport), while encouraging my teammates.  I am very coachable and you can count on me to give 100%, and not complain.  I'm looking forward to finding the right college opportunity over the next 2 years before graduating from high school in the spring of 2018.
