Carter Sullivan Kyle joins the cast of Squid Game: The Challenge as player 101, which may be unlucky for some. In this case, his number may have already proved his fate.

Warning: Squid Game: The Challenge spoilers ahead.
Kyle almost dropped out of Squid Game before his time
Kyle hails from Kentucky, which is notable from his accent. Whilst doing chores with player Dani, he reveals he was nervous about coming due to the challenges. He then admits he was about to give up at the end of Red Light, Green Light but “mentally held down.”
Speaking to the camera, Player 101 reveals that in his opinion, the country accent is viewed as “less intelligent” than other northern or western Kentucky states.
“I can almost see it sometimes in people’s faces with my accent. They’re almost like ‘yeah this guy’s probably not that smart'” he admits.
However, he said he can definitely play that off to his advantage in the game. “If I see the opportunity, I’m gonna seize it.”
Player 101 and 134 are given a ‘secret challenge’
Whilst chopping up carrots, Kyle and Dani are given a challenge, either to give one player an advantage or to eliminate one player.
It was then revealed they chose to eliminate Player 200, Mothi in the first episode, who was devastated as he wanted to better his family, especially his daughter’s life.
Although it wasn’t stated who made the decision many of Kyle’s Squid Game: The Challenge cast mates were suspicious of his reactions.
Kyle’s Squid Game came to an end shortly after
Unfortunately, Kyle’s time on the game didn’t last much longer as he was eliminated in episode 2, with the infamous Dalgona cookie game.
He had the difficult task of cutting the umbrella after teammate Spencer made the hard choice. Kyle called the challenge “unbearable” before unfortunately being shot with the dreaded black ink.
After not winning the huge prize, it seems that Player 101 is working within the Customer Services industry as per Cinemaholic.
