Personal Statement

    From a young age, my parents say I was always kicking a ball around. When I was nine years old I found out from a friend at school that I could try out for a team. Springfield Thunder. I have been playing select soccer ever since.  I have played on my high school Varsity team and as a starter since I was a freshman. Playing at a college level would be a great opportunity and a dream come true.

    I also play for Ohio Sting in the Winter and Spring seasons, where I am a captain. I am always working to improve my skills and training to get bigger, faster and stronger.  I believe that I am a team leader that leads by example to encourage my teammates. My coaches always tell me that I am very coachable and respectful. I am a hard worker in school as well as on the field. I study hard to keep a high GPA. I have volunteered at several events in my area to help out our community.

    I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the soccer field. I am open to all options and want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model for other players, and make my parents proud.
