Carter Sullivan Larry the Cable Guy wife Cara Whitney is together with him since 2005. The Whitney family live on a 180-acre horse farm in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The Nebraska native Larry went to Florida at the age of 10. He has multiple houses in many states including Arizona, but the fam resides in Nebraska as per the People.
He keeps touring to many places around the world so he does not call one place his home, Home is wherever his partner and kids are.
Larry first met his partner in Las Vegas when Cara was working as a radio DJ. The couple eventually exchanged their wedding vows in an open Nebraska field on July 3, 2005.
The wedding was a budget-friendly affair as the pair spent only $180. For the ceremony, Cara dressed up in shorts and a camo tank top, whereas her husband wore a cut-off sweatshirt. The pair served re-heated lasagna to their guests and also set off fireworks for celebration.
While Larry and Cara don't make many public appearances, the couple appeared for a session at Daily Blast Live in 2021. The hosts joked about Whitney's vastly different real name and stage name.
When asked about her experience being married to two people, Cara joked that "one pays the bills and the other one is very sweet and funny, I like them both.
The Couple Are Involved In Charity
As a couple, Larry and Cara have been involved in multiple charity works. In 2009, the pair established a non-profit trust called the Git-R-Done Foundation. The foundation provides financial assistance and other services to people from underprivileged backgrounds.
Likewise, the duo donated $5 million to an Orlando, Florida hospital called Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in 2010. The comedian made the donation after the hospital cured his son Wyatt of dysplasia.
For their generosity, the hospital established a new wing in 2012, the Wyatt Whitney Wing.
Similarly, the pair also made a $1.2 million donation to the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2013.
