Reese Witherspoon, who is a co-owner of Nashville SC, had the privilege of bringing the game ball onto the field before the team's Leagues Cup final showdown against Inter Miami on Saturday night.

In a nod to her team's colors, Witherspoon sported vibrant yellow and black sneakers as she carried the soccer ball onto the field.

During the pre-game activities, the famous actress also seized the opportunity to take a photo with Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham.

While Beckham mentioned on Apple TV that he and co-owner Jorge Mas ensured the entire Inter Miami staff was present for the final, Witherspoon contributed the star power element.

She shared an Instagram photo of herself and her friend Nicole Kidman posing for a selfie in the stands, radiating their excitement and support for the event.

However, Lionel Messi ruined her party, as he opened the scoring for Inter Miami.

Although Nashville sent the game to penalties, Inter Miami secured victory from the spot and clinched the Leagues Cup trophy.

With roots in Nashville, Reese Witherspoon joined the ownership group in April 2022 alongside media and technology investor Jim Toth and Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry.

This trio became part of the ownership team just five days prior to the inaugural match at Nashville's newly established Geodis Park, where the final was held on Saturday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks star, is also a co-owner of the MLS franchise.

Prior to the game, respect was shown between all the owners and Beckham posed with the likes of Witherspoon.
