Logan Walpole's Men's Soccer Recruiting Profile
Jessica Wood Personal Statement
My name is Logan Walpole, I am a forward on San Antonio City SC (2006 ECRL) and for Cornerstone Christian School. I am interested in attending colleges or universities that have a strong academic reputation and competitive soccer program. I started playing soccer when I was five years old living in Germany. Since I can remember, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level, and I know that would be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
On the field, I have been the 2nd leading goal scorer and assist leader for SA City 2006 ECRL the last two seasons and I just finished leading in assists and second in goals for Cornerstone High School. I played JV and varsity last year for my high school and was awarded the MVP on JV for leading in goals and assists. I was one of the only Freshman to play varsity last season on a very competitive and highly ranked high school team.
I have great footwork, I’m constantly scanning the field and have been told that I make good decisions. I am very strong on the ball, I am always looking to move the ball forward and I’m a great finisher. I work hard year-round on all my soccer skills; ensure I stay physically fit and participate in speed and agility training to help improve my athleticism.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am on track to take mostly honors and AP classes in school and have happily volunteered for at least 20 hours a year through Cornerstone Church and school.
My goal is to make my parents proud, and I hope to be a tremendous role model to all my peers on and off the pitch.
