Lorraine Toussaint daughter Samara Zane is an aspiring dancer and a content creator. The teenager is a regular at The Joyce Theatre in New York City.

The youngster visits the theatre with her mom. In an interview, Toussaint said that they even saw Trockadero, Martha Graham, and Alvin Ailey in 2019 during their visit to the Joyce Theatre.

The teenager is active on social media platforms including TikTok under @i.am.mara5. She uploads funky dance videos on her profile. 

Furthermore, she is active on Instagram under @blossom_of-ore where she has gained over 300 followers. In her bio, she mentions that she is a photographer and surfer.

Samara shares an unshakeable bond with her mama. In 2014, the Fast Color actress told Working Mother that her kid was exceedingly proud of her.

Furthermore, she also satirically labeled the youngling as a 'dreadful name-dropper'. Sharing past experiences the actress said that she came to realize Samara spouts facts about her while talking to other people and also name-dropping.

The duo has been more like companions to each other through the years. In March 2019, Toussaint revealed that Samara is a foodie. Talking to the New York Post the actress revealed that she and her child both love Gotham Market.

The mother-daughter duo went to the first Broadway show after the pandemic in September 2021. Sharing a little glimpse of the moment Toussaint wrote that she was enjoying Lion King with her girl.

The everyday chores of the duo include having pastries in the morning, and walking their dog, Kaia, at the Hudson River Park. The actress further revealed that they have standing acupuncture sessions together at Silver Acupuncture every Sunday in the afternoons.
