Love is Blind’s ‘bean dip’ reference used by season 6 star Laura and Jeramey was the weirdest moment of the entire franchise so far, and there’s been plenty of wild pod scenes.

Somehow, Jeramey thought it was okay to repeat his private Love is Blind conversations with Laura. Netflix fans – and their co-stars – thought using the slang term was a major red flag, which is totally valid.

Love is Blind’s ‘bean dip’ reference

Love is Blind star Jeramey shares on season 6 that Laura told him to ‘bean dip’ AD, which is slang for smacking her breasts unprompted. AD and her fiancé Clay are left feeling uncomfortable.

AD explains to Laura that her comment didn’t come across as a joke, but Laura is more focused on getting mad at Jeramey for embarrassing her and telling the group about her “bean dip” remark.

Laura then upsets Jeramey who tells her he wants to go home. A bean dip is when someone “raises the underboob of a man or woman with your index finger and second finger,” states Urban Dictionary.

Why Laura’s joke isn’t even funny

Firstly, the fact AD was subject to a ‘joke’ behavior without her consent was just not okay. Secondly, it’s just a weird, inappropriate way to joke about another woman engaged to someone else.

Viewers are just as creeped out by the comment as AD was. One fan said, “Not Laura trying to invalidate Clay’s feelings about the bean dip joke. Why did you even tell Jeramey about that in the first place?”

Another penned, “AD is trying in the nicest way to tell Laura the bean dip joke wasn’t cool and Laura is somehow finding a way to escape accountability and not apologize by pinning it all on Jeramey??”

When Laura was confronted about the bean dip joke, she pinned the entire thing on her fiancé, even though he was repeating exactly what she’d suggested he done to AD.

With AD being a mental health advocate, as mentioned in her Instagram bio, she was 100 percent in her right to call Laura out. In response, it would have been the mature thing for Laura to apologise.
